Top 5 Thoughts of the Sound Tech During The Sermon

Sound tech's hear the same sermon at each service time.  They have the opportunity to learn from each sermon regardless of the repetition.  Therefore, I present to you the top five thoughts of a sound tech during a three-service Sunday. 

This particular Sunday, the focus is on Job.

8:30 am Sermon
1. "Job DID have a hard life."
2. "Get ready to play the video for the sermon illustration in 30 seconds."
3. "I should be very grateful for the blessings God has given me."
4. "Lord, forgive me for my failure to recognize your mighty power every day of my life."
5. "Annnnnnnnd mute the pastor's mic and bring up the worship team."

10:00 am Sermon
1. "The worship team is sounding better."
2. "I forgot Job went through that as well. Hmmmm."
3. "Mental note: buy more blank CD-R's for recording the sermon."
4. "Lord, I'm glad I didn't live Job's life."
5. "I've got to check for a bad patch cable on the lead guitar before the next service."

11:30 am Sermon
1.  “I hope there's not a line at Taco Bell for lunch.
2.  “Y.M.C.A., I wanna stay at the Y - M - C -A. [makes letters with fingers]”
3.  “Gotta remember to get a gallon of 2% milk after church.
4.  “Don't I have a dental appointment this week?
5.  “I wonder who invented marshmallows.
